Astroviruses Astrovirus is one of the common causes of diarrhoea in children between 2 to 5 years of age.
Transmission Transmission is through faecal-oral route. Incubation period - 3 to 4 days.

Management
Increase fluid intake. Patient isolation to control infection. Hand washing. Prevention
There is no vaccine. Proper hygienic care and waste disposal.
