Investigation Specimens-conjunctival swabs Use appropriate swab and transport media.
Tests IF- rapid Virus isolation- all three viruses can be isolated. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
Retinitis
The aetiological agents are
Investigation Specimens- vitreous fluid The fluid should be collected by a trained Ophthalmologist. Send the fluid in a clean bottle without any reagents.
